Having successfully returned from a weekend drowning in booze, as well (although not at the same time) driving and shooting things I can bring you all the news.

In mountain biking circles it looks like Northern Ireland is set to follow Wales and Scotland into the realms of a riding holiday destination as trail building ramps up a bit.

In city cycling terms apparently Hackney is the cyclingest of boroughs in London, with more people claiming to use a bike than a car.

Otherwise the pro season is steaming ahead with the Tour of Qatar on as we speak as well as the Mallorca Challenge giving some of the big guns form Sky a first race out. In Team Sky news, the story that seems to be just not going away (understandably perhaps) is about the Wiggins and Froome potential friction.
