This week feels a bit like the end of term after all the madness of the last few weeks in British cycling. Just like the end of term I am tempted to just put on a video and sit at the back of the classroom texting my friends.

Elsewhere the Road World Championships are hotting up towards a climax on Sunday, with various World Champions being crowned as the week goes on, including Elinor Barker who took the Women’s Junior TT title..
