In terms of competitive cycling there were two pieces of big news over the weekend.
First-up Bradley Wiggins continued to show he’s a force to be reckoned with by winning the Tour De Romandie. This could all be good news heading to the Tour De France and is certainly showing that he’s on winning form, even keeping hold of his temper with a mechanical in the time trail and going on to ride himself into the win.
Otherwise the BOA lost its case against WADA and the way now looks clear for David Millar to compete for Team GB this summer. In terms of giving the team the best chance to win on the road, this could be excellent, whatever your feelings on doping cheats being allowed back into sport.
