London is something of a trend-leader when it comes to cycling. Not only were the streets closed on Sunday for the Tour of Britain, but the Boris Bike hire model is being copied in big cities all over the world. Most recently New York is set to follow, and even trump London by having a mayor called Mike, thus managing rhyming, although not alliteration.
