Scrambling back to normal service we can make up for anything you might have missed out on with a post with one whole item of news and an invention.
News-wise it seems that the authorities in Caerphilly are going on a drive to get people to give up their illegal powered off-road vehicles in exchange for mountain bikes and kit. This is good news for FMFT as we have a trip that way planned soon and would prefer to be sharing the trails with nothing with an engine. That is pretty selfish of us, we realise.
Talking of Wales, and our trip there, we will be hoping it doesn’t rain (which may prove to be optimistic in a country famed for its rain. If we are unlucky we may be investing in a roof for our bikes as we saw on this website. Eminently practical and stylish I think, and something we’ll undoubtedly be seeing at the next round of the Mountain Bike World Cup.
