The nature of writing this blog means that often each day’s post gets written he day before and so runs the risk of missing big news which breaks late in the day. This is why yesterday’s post made no mention of the tragic death of Wouter Weylandt on Monday’s stage of the Giro D’Italia.
This is dealt with, with far more eloquence than I could probably achieve, in many of the usual places on the internet, including a number of great pieces from the Guardian.
It might be a day late but it seems wrong to try and find amusing stories for a little bit, although like the Giro we will carry on tomorrow.
