Men and Women

Watching telly can be an educating experience. For example I learned only yesterday that the Amgen Tour of California counts as “real man’s telly” as far as the sponsors, Tetley Breweries are concerned. This must be annoying to all the women that like cycling, and who might want to watch the racing in the US as much as any bitter-drinking man in the pub.

Talking of women cycling, which is a fun thing to think about most of the time, the Independent have an article all about exactly that, with a focus on the glamour of it all. There’s not much new there, but any piece that brings up the image of pretty girls riding attractive bikes in summer dresses is good in my book.

Also, making a return this year, is the TfL Cycle Challenge. So sign up and get your organisation riding to work over the summer.
