Wearing the Right Kit

It seems we have avoided another Tube strike. This is a good thing for no better reason than it avoids any more of those fairly irritating articles about what you could possibly imagine wearing to both ride to work and then go to work.

Mind you it's that time of year where what to wear is a bit of an issue as each morning is a gamble against the cold or the rain, or both.

Elsewhere there was amusement from Qatar as one of the biggest guys in team Sky contemplated a skinsuit for yesterday's time trial.

In the end he did enough to move up to fifth place overall, wearing what appears to be Bernie Eisel's suit which may or may not have improved his comfort.

There was also racing action in Majorca where more traditional early season action saw second for Sky's Boassen Hagen.

A
