Better-Looking and Faster Cyclists

Finally there is conclusive evidence to show why I'm just not that fast on a bike. Talking of better looking riders who are way faster, Sky were not included in the study as they insisted on apparently wearing sunglasses in every picture. But now as the season starts then there are plenty of things to catch up on. Bradley Wiggins does so here, along with Ben Swift (for whom I'd predict big things this year if that hadn't seemed to spell the end of Jon Tiernan Locke's career last year)

Talking of the pros there is news from Yorkshire on the preparations for the Tour.

At this point maybe it's worth a quick wrap up over where the British Superstars will be starting their seasons. Cav is already in action at the Tour of Dubai, where he failed to contest the first sprint which was won by Marcel Kittel. Froome starts the season in Oman later this month and Wiggins begins with a series of races in Spain. Dave Millar hasn't announced his schedule but this will be his final pro season so expect him to pick his favourite races and roll round Europe smoking cigars and drinking champagne.
