Up Cycle

The FMFT foreign correspondent has been dispatched from his former beat in south Wales to further flung climes.

If you’re interested you can read about his travels here. But you’re not reading this to find out about olive picking or Italian art, you want bikes, don’t you?

Luckily I have sent him off with a mission to collect cycling stories from across Europe (this is a massive lie. I have no influence over him). The first of these reports came winging back to me this week in the form of this picture of art in Florence.

Thing is I don’t know much more about it. The accompanying email said “They have a number of sculptures in Florence along a 'cycle up' theme, partly about upcycling and partly about bikes”. So. Yeah.

A quick Google threw up nothing more enlightening, which is a shame. I’ll tell you more if I find out more.
