So there were all of those videos that were kicking around in the last weeks and inevitably there are follow ups to all of them. Did you want to know about the bike that was ridden in Martyn Ashton's film. Guess what? You can find out all about it.
I know I'm no road bike expert, but that looks pretty cool, even when it's not under some of the best trials riders in the world.
The other big film was the story of Steve Peat's career. It was covered in the local news where they managed to caption it with a picture of Peat in one of his trips out on a motorbike trails bike, not on the downhill bike that the film is all about him riding.
There was more bike news as, at the same time that the Boris Bike scheme extended to South West London, Barclays pulled their sponsorship. Buzzfeed had some interesting statistics about the costs involved. Bashing the scheme seems counter productive to the benefits it brings, but let's hope that the real story is in the expansion that shows it's wanted, rather than these financial assessments.
Let's end today with a video that really sums up what I love about riding a bike as Hannah Barnes shows us some big days out in the Highlands. Jealous doesn't even come close.
