Mud and Peat

While I have taken this blog to a solid 1002 posts which is, I think, pretty good, and have a bunch of exceptionally average Strava segments, I'm not quite a legend of the sport.

For that you need to look at someone like Steve Peat. He has a film coming out that documents his life and career. The trailer drops today on PinkBike, so check it out and I'll try and bring it for you here tomorrow. There's a website and everything.

Until then, some action from his mate, Mr Warner?

More extreme riding for you comes courtesy of a bit of BMX.

Much much less extreme, but no less fun, I went and had a ride. A drizzly afternoon on slippery leaf-litter, mud and chalk was a great way to ride hard on my new wheels (which were excellent). With simply inspired bass/bass dubstep/fishing jokes rattling round my head it was great to remember a loop and get some countryside in.

In case you haven't really made it out there. It's definitely autumn.
