There was more fallout from the police focus on London cycling yesterday as a 57 year old taking his children to school in a cargo bike hit back at the officers who stopped him and appeared to not know whether his bike was legal or not.

I think it’s this that has got people upset. There should be more focus on making cycling safer, but if the police are going to stop riders and give out advice, then they should at least have as strong a knowledge of the law when it comes to bikes as you would expect if you were stopped driving or walking.
