Travel Plans

It's a really very hard life being a pro BMXer. I really don't know how they manage it and definitely don't wish I had the sort of life that means trips to fabulous islands to just ride a bit of bike.

Horrible.

Closer to home and to what is real life for most people there has been some interesting mapping, based on TFL data, of bike riding in London. I'm afraid I find maps pretty interesting (which may explain why I'm not a pro BMX rider) and so here it is.

It's a weekend with no big events that I'm covering so you can enjoy a break from my mediocre sports reporting. The darker nights and occasional wet and windy days must be making you realise it's getting to winter, so I'll be making sure I have warm gloves and stuff ready for the real cold, and replacing the worn through brake pads in preparation for more grinding gritty mud.
