Darkness Approaches

You might have noticed that we have just survived the storm of the century. There were hight winds and excessive rain and people were killed. At the same time there were a load of people massively overreacting as they woke up after the worst was over and then moaned about the inconvenience that meant they couldn't get to work and just had to spend a day on the sofa.

Personally I ignored all of the warnings about the dangers of the wind and totally rode my bike to work. It was fine.

Coming home was also ok, although with the clocks going back and the blustery wet weather suddenly everything seems darker and more dangerous. It's the start of those long dark evenings and riding with lights and long sleeves being buffeted and blown along.

Still, that's all a bit depressing so how about an urban downhill. I love a bit of urban downhill.
