More Bickering

I don’t think this niggling semi-disagreement between Wiggins and Froome is going anywhere soon, probably not until we’re into the Tour de France. Until then it seems to be a case of Froome wanting to be sure he gets to be in charge and to take a shot at the win (perhaps scared that, as the less established and knighted rider he might lose the chance), while Wiggins suggests he wants to be there to fight it out as well.

William Fotheringham expands on this theme, and on the whole issue, in the Guardian. I certainly think it’s going to make for an added element of interest to the race, and let’s hope it still ends up with a British winner again.

To finish ITV have been looking at some ways the safety of cycling on the roads of Britain could be improved in the near future. Some of them make a lot of sense to me, although we can argue about them for as long as two in-form cyclists who want to lead a team on a Grand Tour can, if you like?
