Hibernation?

Well it looks like this rubbish weather is with us for a while yet. This makes me unhappy as I either have to man up and get out in the snow and cold which I decidedly do not enjoy as much as the sunshine, or hibernate. I would like to hibernate ideally, but it turns out that jobs and things make this a tricky prospect.

I know that I shouldn’t moan about not being able to ride when people are looking at weeks without power and serious freezing conditions, but I’m sure everyone agrees that we can stop this now, please.

To add to the injury it seems that not even the nice places to be a cyclist are all that pleasant. Amsterdam is suffering with too many bikes and even riding the dusty Cape Epic is fraught with unexpected danger:
