Often bikes and music go together, whether it’s people riding inadvisably in headphones, the playlists from the pros as they warm up, or making music form a variety of bike parts and pieces.

Everyone must have seen this by now, right?

Creep from Matthijs_Vlot on Vimeo.

From that to the literally ridiculous as someone has gone to the effort of inventing a bike that can play vinyl records. Once again you have to ask yourself if just because you can do something, should you? Exactly why did anyone think that this was something that needed to be done?

At least it’s a way to get rid of those old formats once you’ve moved over to digital, especially as I doubt the record will last more than one trip. Next look out for bikes powering cassettes, minidiscs and maybe eventually CDs, coming soon to a ridiculous concept bike near you.
