I love a good cycling event in the middle of London so I’m already a little excited about getting down to see the big names of World cycling thrashing it out.
What else has been going on? Oh yeah there was that Oprah interview. As I’m writing this before the broadcast I don’t know exactly what Armstrong’s said yet, but I feel reasonably confident in saying I disliked his act.
Incidentally, there will be no blog on Monday due to the fun of moving house. See you on the 22nd.

OK, OK so in a moment of being up to date and professional I should really mention more about that interview.
You can see the key points here:
And tonight's installment will be broadcast here on Oprah's own OWN network (where you can't see the highlights if you're not in the US - and features comments which proves how many strongly religious people worship Oprah).
And what came out of it?
- A confession - which everyone expected - that Lance Armstrong doped and cheated.
- Not a whole lot else. He still lied or avoided the truth as far as anyone can tell, and failed to admit (as is widely held) that he was at the centre of the 90s doping culture, not just swept along with it.
- No agreement that he was a bully, beyond manipulating the story.
- Armstrong at least starts to agree with the rest of the world that he is a "jerk" and an "Arrogant Prick".
