Trophies

Another day in the run up to Christmas and another missed day I’m afraid.

Sorry.

I imagine you saw the TV highlight of Sunday night where, in a ceremony dominated by the Olympics and Paralympics, Bradley Wiggins won BBC Sports Personality of the Year. Demonstrating that cycling has a massive hold on the British public now and that even with the phenomenal success at the games the achievement of winning the Tour de France seems to stand high above almost anything else. Backed up with an award for Dave Brailsford as coach of the year it was another opportunity for the incredible work that’s been done in identifying a target and consistently hitting it.

Talking of trophies perhaps you want one of your own for the wall, and fancy a bit of a bike screwed onto a bit of wood instead of the more traditional (but less acceptable) animal’s head? It seems it is all the rage.

In other news, featuring patience and planning, here’s an idea of how to definitely impress your friends this Christmas.
