I have always thought that being fearless and one of the biggest names on the Freeride mountain bike circuit, regularly winning major events and having a reputation as one of the best dirt jumpers in the world would get you a fair amount of female attention.
Maybe Sam Pilgrim does but he appears to be currently single as he turned up on ITV’s early evening, highly intellectual, Take Me Out.
Watch his performance here and tune in next weekend to see how he got on with his date in a manner that’s definitely nothing like Blind Date, no, not at all. (And yes the show does feature some bikes!)
Sam’s also starring in his own webisode type show (currently literally all the rage in mountain biking), which might be slightly less embarrassing to be caught watching over your lunch hour at work.
Otherwise the television cycling from the weekend was from the Chris Hoy Velodrome, presented by Chris Hoy himself and featuring mostly male GB riders crashing as well as a good haul of medals.
