Exaggeration

Just in time for the weekend I have a whole lot of treats to bring you.

Firmly in the camp of solving a problem I really hadn’t thought existed are these “unstealable” lights. As the copy says, the only way to steal them is to steal the whole bike, and, well, is that actually better? Personally I would rather lose a light then a bike and why can’t you just take the lights off the bike when you leave it anyway? Take them with you and they certainly won’t get stolen off the bike.

On my slack day off from here I did do some riding at the famous Lordship Rec bike loop, which is as good as ever for a drizzly cold November afternoon. I took along someone who was tasked with quite simply making me look better than I actually am, and he did. Have a look:

So there you go – even an average rider in ripped jeans can look half decent thanks to a good photographer. Aside from the pictures themselves it’s fun to have an excuse to ride the same section over and over again and to get better at it, and surprisingly hard work.
