Air Time

Some people in cycling are being fairly reserved and measured about the doping revelations that are coming out. However there are people who have been pretty wronged in the reign of the arrogant cheating bully that was Lance Armstrong and these people are clearly finding it difficult (understandably) to remain calm.

Greg LeMond, for example, virtually lost his branded bike making business as it sat in the Armstrong-sponsoring Trek stable, when he fell out with the rider. He hit back at the UCI with possibly the most direct open letter ever.

In other news, and also surprising very few people, it is being suggested that Bradley Wiggins may only ride the Tour de France next year in support of Chris Froome. With the killer climbs in the route, including two trips up the Alpe d’Huez in a day, this could be the year for the climber, with Wiggins’ focus more on the Giro.

If riding a bike on the ground is a bit dull then this will be for you. We’re talking some serious air-time if this comes off.
