Strikes, Saracens and Swearing

We’re careering headlong into a long weekend, which is exciting, even if you don’t particularly care about the Royal Jubilee.

As you’ll know by now, this means that I won’t be back here until Wednesday 6th June.

Until then there’s news from Somerset as a local council is giving students the opportunity to buy a Saracen Tufftrax for only £40.

In some ways opposite to this it looks like there could be a strike from people working on Boris Bikes in London, as they demand a £1000 bonus for working during the Olympics. If all the strikes go ahead it looks like it could be even harder for anyone to get anywhere during the Games.

To finish off, and for something to take you into the weekend, it’s all the rage for downhill mountain bike stars to have their own web-tv programme. Following Steve Peat’s contribution recently, his rival from the 90s and now commentator and pundit for all two wheeled sports, Rob Warner has brought out the first episode of his very own show:
