Gwinning Again

On a weekend where the choice seemed to be between England playing football, or watching the Mont Sainte Anne round of the Downhill World Cup, I managed to do both, at the same time.

I watched Rachel Atherton take a solid win and once again Aaron Gwin find time over everyone else to destroy the field with a stupidly stylish run that sets him a world apart from his rivals.

In other racing Team Sky had a bit of a chat and decided that Ian Stannard would win the British Road Race Championships, or something.

In a last bit of race news the UK MTB Hall of Fame was launched, and you can check out the first inductees, which take me back to reading MBUK in the 90s. All very worthy of a place and some great names old and current.
