This weekend there was a mix of cycling events. In London, and across the world the World Naked Bike Ride 2012 took place, again. I’ll leave it to a respectable outlet to bring you a collection of pictures, especially as I wasn’t there.
More protected, perhaps, was the World Cup Downhill round at Fort William. There the news, from a British point of view, was that Rachel Atherton once again failed to win, coming in second, and despite filling the first three slots after qualifying, Marc Beaumont had a disappointing run, And Danny Hart and Gee Atherton could only manage second and third respectively behind Aaron Gwin who continues to dominate.
