Happy New Year and Christmas Riding

That was Christmas and the New Year then, and now we’re in 2012, which you may have failed to notice is the year of the Olympics.

Hopefully you’ve recovered form any remaining hangovers and are back into the swing of taking off that holiday pudge and are back on the bike. Seems like a good time to join you with more blogging.

One fun story for you as some bike mechanics in Montreal have taken their clothes off to make a calendar and promote the city’s bike co-ops.

For FMFT the Christmas break was a chance to ride. This went very well on Christmas morning with a semi-traditional hammer around Cwm Carn. The weather was drizzly, the new carpark very smart, and the ride awesome as ever as I smashed around the trail building up an appetite for all the food and drink to come. All in all I can definitely not think of a better way to start Christmas day.

After this there were less satisfying bike moments, but more on that soon.
