With a sigh that may or may not represent the annoying out-flowing of air I had to accept that I had yet another puncture in the back wheel of the ride-to-work bike with the impossible tyres to fit.
This is annoying to say the least and in a fit of trying to ignore it I decided to fit a spare knobbly mountain bike tyre to the bike instead of replacing the slick one for now. This means I have a comedy dragster-type set up with a fat back tyre and narrow front one for now. I will report back on how this goes if I remember. For the record the culprit was a chunk of plastic this time.
To cheer myself up I went looking for fun mountain bike sports on the interwebs. I found this. At least you wouldn’t worry about punctures if you’re neck-deep in bog.
