The BBC Sports Personality of the Year nominations were announced to a furore at the lack of any women in the list. Less surprising was the inclusion of a certain soon-to-be a father road cyclist. (Although I can think of a few female cyclists who would have fulfilled both the cycling and women part of the list).
Looking at who Cav is up against I think he should be a shoe-in, but I’m biased.
In other news the organisers of the Fort William downhill event have decided to include 4X, even though it’s been dropped as a UCI sanctioned event.
