Stepping away from the intricacies of the professional peloton, and even from whether David Millar might have a chance to ride at the 2012 Olympics, here’s a bit more grass-roots news.
Something I’m very excited about is the new Lordship Loop Mountain Bike track which is in the process of being built. It’s now due to be officially opened on the 19th November, and I really can’t wait to give it a good going over.
Hopefully, if it’s a success it might open the way for even more similar projects in urban areas, and at the very least it’ll be somewhere to ride without trekking out of town and without loading up the car.
