There’s been something of a conflict between mountain bikers and walkers in when it comes to using the great outdoors. While they can work together and appreciate much of the same things there have often been clashes over their relative speeds and the danger they can pose to each other. Luckily, in Scotland, there is a move to not only change this but also to actively encourage walkers to get on bikes in order to get to the start of the more fun bits they want t walk.
the question surely is why, when they’ve experienced the ride in, anyone would then choose to get off the bike rather than keep riding on.
