Unlike the Tour de France this blog doesn’t take a rest day, so while the riders relax after a tough week in the Pyrenees that hasn’t really showed the big guns, but looks to have made a British rider finishing in green a distinct possibility, I’m still working away to bring you news.
Talking of major events, and as people already debate which riders will be back to the Tour de France next year there is already talk of the Olympics. Hopefully there will be British cycling medals at these games, watched, undoubtedly, by those people who successfully negotiated the complicated ticket-buying procedure. The Olympic news just now is that BMW have released the bikes that will carry organisers around the events.
More dramatically in my opinion is this video, which simply makes me feel a bit ill.
