The lines between fact and fiction seem to be blurring today. Trawling the internets as I do I was intrigued by the BBC report of a bike that could be adjusted to grow with a child.
This bike is designed to make it cheaper for parents struggling to afford a new bike on a regular basis as their kids grow, and seems like a very good idea. A good idea, that is, as long as you can persuade your child that they will be happy on this bike, and don’t want a Disney character on the frame, or a BMX, or whatever is cool amongst the under-8s these days.
More interestingly I was sure I had seen this idea a short while ago somewhere else. Who is influenced by who…?
