We are now entering the tricky period on the run up to a big trip away. Do I ride more and enjoy it, but risk breaking something with not enough time to fix it, or save the bike for the week away? It’s an eternal issue and one I think I will resolve by simply riding a different bike for a bit.
There will also be more news from us about this year’s big trip as we get closer, although we can exclusively reveal that it will involve a trip to a different country, albeit one within the UK.
In the meantime, and following on from my report yesterday about the Essex police threatening to arrest people who ride the Olympic mountain bike course, it turns out that the same kids have been asked to name the technical sections that they are being protected from.
