Squashed Tomatoes and Stew.

Like a faux-modest person of a certain age we tried to ignore this in the secret hope that someone would have thrown s surprise party for us, but now have to back hurriedly down and point out to people that yesterday was, in fact, our birthday.

Ok, well actually we completely forgot and only thought to check in time to get something sorted today, but we are officially now entering the second year of FMFT.

So what has this year been like? Well, we’ve maintained a steady readership mostly of random people who were looking for something else and have barely troubled the people who kindly – but undoubtedly unknowingly – host this blog every day. There have been some points we’ve been proud of and some we’ve been less so, so here’s our FMFT highlights show of the last year:

It all started with pedestrians and the annoyances and that irritate us on the way to work, whether they’re being nearly killed, or just a little inconvenienced.

We’ve raced, and suffered, as well as shown the more enjoyable bits of the ride to work.

We’ve brought you in-depth reports form Hamburg, Amsterdam and Scotland, as well as views into how we spend our time riding or playing on bikes.

We’ve pointed a laughing finger at the things other cyclists do or wear and accusing fingers at some of the things that appear on websites and news sites.

In amongst all of this we’ve rounded-up all the news that’s worth knowing and even reported on major bike events for you, while not forgetting to get a bit arty at times, to help you fix things, and to look at the way cycling takes over your life.

We’ve enjoyed it thoroughly so far and we hope you have too.

Come with us on another year of cycling fun.

A and R
