Keeping Going

You get a lot of inventions in the cycling world that are an excuse to solve a problem that didn't really exist, and to make what should be a relatively simple activity more complicated while adding no more fun. However occasionally there's something that I really think could be amazing. That's what I thought when I heard about the Patch N Ride.

A chance to fix punctures without having to go through the faff of taking the wheel off and dealing with tight tyre beads sounds too good to be true. Here's how it is claimed to work:


If it really is as good as they say then I can see a huge market, and let's face it, I want one to take away the irritation of puncture repairs both at home and on rides. It seems too good to be true, so let's have another look:


I think I need to get one to try it out.
