Soho Bikes is part owned by the voice of mountain biking, Rob Warner, who was in-store helping people with their purchases and just hanging out to add an element of minor celebrity. The store stocks Santa Cruz, Genesis, Cotic and Giant, and has some lovely examples of all these, along with Warner's frame and British Champion jersey and other bits and pieces, including a lovely replica of Greg Minnaar's world champion winning V10.
The shop is also the only London stockist of Troy Lee Designs kit and is a high-end emporium over two floors, with excellent coffee provided at the front of the store. It strikes me as a great place for advice, top level buys and to hang out.
For other city-centre excitement the City Downhill World Tour reached Bratislava. There are no results available as I write this, but it seems like a good excuse to put up a video of some urban downhill action.
