I'll leave you with news that contradicts the story last week that thieves are targeting mid-range easy-to-sell-on bikes, by suggesting that in Manchester they are after the high-end machines ridden by Team GB riders. The moral here is probably that bike thieves will steal most bikes, so keep them all safe.

Finally I had the opportunity to start a process of experimentation with a drone pilot to provide a subject for him to look to improve his flying and filming skills and also, for me, a fairly unique chance to see myself riding. It's great fun to do and there is plenty to build on in terms of what riding looks best to film in this way, but I'm pretty impressed with the first stab:
