Pimp My Ride

The answer to the question of whether bikes are gaining a foothold in America might be answered by this link, which seems to suggest that the MTV show famous for “pimping” people's “rides” (or doing up their cars in normal-speak) has turned its attention to bicycles.

I am more than intrigued to see what they will do with bikes and expect them fitted out with hot tubs, sound systems and entertainment as in the car show.

In Wales some people have had a major head start in this sense by setting their bikes up for chariot racing:

Finally, and keeping it with unusual mountain biking stories. I just don't know what to make of this. I guess if his pimped bike means he picks up lots of girls it could be handy...
