Expansion and Growth

It’s been a not especially busy week for cycling news, so I will try and muster some excitement for the expansion of the Boris Bike network into South West London. This is good news as it shows that the scheme as a whole has been successful and worth expanding, and great for people in that part of London , or who have to go there and can now ride.

In other news there was news that London puts a number of people off from riding to work thanks to the perceived danger of being on the streets on a bike. This is a shame, as, for all the cars that try and cut you up and knock you off (I'm looking at you Focus C-Max on Tollington Park Road), riding around the city is by far the best way to get around.

Elsewhere the Dave production of the story behind the Imaginate film was well worth a watch last night for a reminder of the production and of Danny MacAskill's riding.

Watch it here if you missed it.
