#ArmstrongFatigue

I'm coining a hashtag that was started by Ned Boulting yesterday as we get generally bored by the increasing coverage of Lance Armstrong in the press. The latest part was a meeting with Emma O'Reilly, the carer whose life he set out to ruin after her allegations of doping in his squad came out, filmed by the Daily Mail.

I can't really link to the Mail, because, well, it's the Mail, so here's what the Guardian thought about it.. I can't imagine that this fixes anything really or makes up for a huge personal and professional sustained attack, however nicely they are publicly playing:

What's even more surprising is the outpouring of support for the disgraced cyclist which you can find under this link?

I guess if you can't fight the coverage, you might as well embrace it, and so there was more cycling coverage, if you can really call it that, from the Mail as they get traditionally confused over health issues. It seems they are suggesting that riding a bike as a middle-aged man may be more damaging to your health. But then remember that if you believe the Mail everything is simultaneously good and bad for you.
