Evolution

I keep debating whether to call the summer over, and maybe I should now we're in October. However I keep holding on for something better again and I can't quite bring myself to do it. I want to round it all up and look back on a few months of good and varied riding,but I think I'llleave that for another day.

In the meantime there was news that the Tour of Britain has not been upgraded in the UCI system as everyone hoped. Given the profile of the race this year it sees a shame that it wasn't recognised.

We're still building up to Rampage and everyone knows part of the fun is holding your breath as top athletes wipe themselves out into cliffs.

This is in danger of becoming one of those big crash sites.
