With both, loads of people have rushed to point out the practical problems and issues with air traffic control in towns that make it unlikely that either will be the solution to your commuting woes (especially considering you can largely slip through traffic on a standard bike and so would just end up needing more space for your fancy flying bike to take off and land). But let’s not let practicality get in the way of a fun idea, and one day, who knows, there might be a viable flying bike to get some serious air on.
In other news, we’re getting closer to the Tour de France (and three weeks of nervous excitement as I try and keep up for this blog) and there has been a peek at what Saxo-Bank Tinkoff will be doing to support Contador. With the Spaniard and that team likely to be the biggest threat to Froome’s Sky hopes, it’s a good idea of what’s to come and how strong the challenge will be.
