Weather permitting I will be off out again tomorrow to get some more riding, this time, once again exploring the options within a short drive from home in North London. The week has been dominated by scouring Bing Maps for their useful OS view and any likely bridleways and tracks. I have a plan and I will report back. I keep hoping for some halfway decent riding close to home, even if it won’t be on the scale of the Brecons.
Meanwhile it was another sprinters stage in the Giro and you’d have been brave to bet against Cavendish. And why would you when he delivers like that, with Omega Pharma finally getting it right and delivering him to the line. Wiggins finished in the bunch after some hard work to get back on terms after a mechanical, and a showing on the front of the peloton as his frustration starts to show, and the time gaps remained as yesterday.
