Bad Luck

It ha been a story of bad luck in cycling this weekend as a mountain biker was felled by a deer in Virginia. Cue loads of criticism on the Mail’s website about whether the biker or the deer had run a red light and therefore had it coming, and probably that both should/should not have been on the road or where it was. Probably. I’m trying to avoid the comments for Lent or something.

In other bad luck Team Leopard-Trek was the latest to be hit by organised thieves who took eight of their race machines in Belgium..

Which brings us neatly to remind you that the season is ON with the classics and Paris-Nice providing this week’s action.
