(This embedded video kept deciding to sit at the bottom of the page so I've replaced it with a link - here)
The UK is not far behind in all things, and a new Welsh centre is aiming to be the home of mountain biking, albeit in a less full on freeride, and more uplifted trails way. Joking aside it does look good and will complement the Welsh scene.
Even closer to home, this week sees the last before my commute is extended well over the four miles I’ve been writing about for years. There are mixed feelings as I enjoy the possibility of longer on a bike each day, set against the longer trudge on those days when the weather’s bad or I’m just not feeling it. The big question is whether the extra hills will need gears or whether I should just get bigger legs. I won’t be renaming the blog so look forward to stories of a longer ride hidden behind a title that should be “Six Miles Cycling” or something.
Maybe I’ve just got attached to the name, however irrelevant it is these days.
