Further to my comments about Skins yesterday (and with credit to the BikeRadar forum) it seems that the Australian company are far more worried about the impact that doping in cycling will have on them than they ever were about the impact of being associated with a mass murderer.
My cynicism remains intact and, while I don’t want to support doping I hope this legal attack fails. I mean, it really couldn’t have anything to do with compression clothing being banned in competition by the UCI could it…
In good news for cycling there will be a new Women’s pro cycling team, featuring British track stars Laura Trott, Dani King and Joanna Rowsell and directly supported by Bradley Wiggins. It’s excellent to see the growth in cycling and the more money in the sport being spread to areas that have been traditionally underfunded.
If you’re like me you won’t be letting the colder weather put you off riding to work and for fun. New social network n0tice agrees with me and is behind a campaign with the hashtag #keepcycling.
This might have been around for a while, but it's a great dig at the pretension of some cycling brands.
There was also a reminder, that you'll have undoubtedly seen, that you might be the most recognisable cyclist in Britain, but you can still have days where you appear to be invisible to motorists.
Finally, this picture. Not much more to say about it is there.
