This week I have found myself slightly irritated by the way that, when you fit a new saddle, the bolt holding it will inevitably work loose a couple of times before it settles. This is because I fitted a new saddle and, as usual, the bolt worked loose. More irritating was the fact that I’d had to lean on the bolt pretty hard to get the old saddle off as it bas beautifully stuck on and not budging. I then cleaned the whole assembly and probably helped the whole loosening thing.
I do, however, now have a lovely new saddle fitted and staying put.
Also I feel a bit bad and my moan seems largely insignificant when compared to this:
I’m sure no one wants to go on about it and patronise the blind in some way, but I’m pretty impressed. I mean there’s some pretty mind blowing skills involved there and the idea of being able to use any other sense other than my sight to see where I’m going on my bike is mind-boggling.
