Failing you on Friday

To be honest it’s been one of those weeks. A little busy in the non cycling-blog part of my life and decidedly definitely wintery. I mean, I got wet on the way to work the other day and was significantly unimpressed, especially as I had to put wet stuff back on for a windy ride home.

Now it’s Friday and I’m slightly looking forward to the weekend and have neglected my tireless trawl of the Internet for you a little. This is partly because I just can’t get excited about things like the price rise for Boris Bikes and about just how dangerous it apparently is to ride in big cities. Maybe I should care, but it’s just not doing it for me.

So what am I left with? Well I do actually think it’s pretty exciting that you can go and ride the Olympic course as it was for the games. All you have to do is pay for a course and demonstrate you are at “Black Route” standard (for everywhere but Thetford I assume). It looks like loads of fun.

Oh and the Guardian reviewed Sky Atlantic's programme about Wiggins.
