Some days I like to be massively London-centric and round up the cycling stories from a city that is embracing riding more and more.
In that vein, two people have been sentenced after their cycle-related fraud on a fairly large scale.
Also linked to the Boris Bikes, it is being suggested that every one should ride bikes around London during the Olympics, not least because all the Tube lines and roads will be jammed solid. This information has gone world-wide, and here’s now Fox News sees it.
To finish off I was pottering around the city yesterday and saw a van from this mobile bike mechanic company doing some fixing to a bike. Somehow this made me happy, I think that cycling is a big enough deal, and popular enough to support this sort of industry.
